Greenhavens have recently been meeting with other green partnerships along the South coast, with a view to working together and forming a strategic partnership. The temporary name for this exciting alliance is the South Coast Green Spaces Alliance.

The other partners involved have been:

Michelle Furtado from Green Tides (Adur and Worthing Green Spaces Alliance)

Cliff Munn from the Brighton and Hove Green Spaces Forum

And Jo Peters from the fledgling Friends of Eastbourne Parks group. This group is in the very early stages of development and is being supported by 3VA to develop.

We will be looking for a funded part time post to develop the alliance, in partnership with the National Federation of Parks and Green Spaces who also attended the recent meeting.

This is great news for the protection of our green spaces. More details to follow in the new year. Our community groups and community networks really will be stronger together!
